Day 6 of my fundraiser

Here are three really important facts about orangutans that I would like to tell you about in my blog today:

1) About 3000 orangutans are killed each year by the illegal wildlife trade,

2) There has been a 50% decline in 60 years because of habitat loss. Their habitats are mainly destroyed for palm oil which are in around 50% of all products in a supermarket,

3) One of the three species is endangered and two are critically endangered - these are the Bornean, the Sumatran and the Talanuli orangutans.
